Herzlich Willkommen!
The book covers the life of Piotr Michalowski, the most outstanding painter of Polish Romanticism. After the fall of the anti-Russian uprising, he left behind his career as a technocrat and pursued the arts. This change is documented by the sketchbook he kept in January 1832 which the authors analyze, delving into its deeper structure.
