Francesco Marchi is Director of the research and training programme «Negotiators of Europe» at the Institute for Research and Education on Negotiation (ESSEC-IRENE). He provides regular training on negotiation to several European institutions and to National Diplomatic Academies. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the Institut d’études politiques of Paris and his research focuses on the negotiating behaviour of EU officials and diplomats.
