Kate Ruby is a pseudonym for an award-winning TV drama producer and screenwriter. With several previously published novels (two of which are currently under option to Element Pictures, producers of Normal People), and original TV projects developed at the BBC and Sky, she balances her writing career alongside her role as an executive producer. Kate spent a decade at BBC Drama, where she worked on a wide variety of shows including Rome, Being Human and Spooks.
