Nikola Hahn has been an police officer with the German federal state of Hesse since 1984, investigating cases of forgery, homicide, robbery and extortion. As detective chief inspector, she currently lectures at the Hesse Police Academy with main focus on the echniques of criminal interrogation. Following training in fictional writing and journalism as well as caricature and journalistic drawing, Nikola Hahn worked part-time for a local daily newspaper and the editorial office of a police journal. As an author she is best known for her criminal fiction novels which bring to life the beginnings of criminal nvestigation in Germany. Furthermore, Nikola Hahn is artist (drawings, photography) and a passionate gardener.
