INTERTEXTUALITY AND THE NOVELS OF AMOS TUTUOLA AND BEN OKRI
Literary perspectives, especially as they concern the African novel genre, continue to interest the literati. This is with the aim of identifying the conflicting and similar epistemological views of African authors, as they are being impacted upon by ¿Euramerican'' cosmic ethos. This book is deeply reflective of the above. It explores the theoretical notions of intertextuality to explicate the appropriative desires of Ben Okri in his ¿anxiety of influence'' relationships with Amos Tutuola, the latter being a paternal figure in textual indegeneity, fantasy textuality in particular.
