Herzlich Willkommen!
Slovenian philosopher Franz Weber (or France Veber) (1890 - 1975) was the most important philosopher in Slovenia in the last two decades before the Second World War. He was the first professor of philosophy at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana (founded 1919). He emerged from the Graz school of Alexius Meinong, founder of the object theory. He brought the object theory to Slovenia and complemented it with his original theory of direct experience of reality. The book is a concise comprehensive presentation of Weber's philosophy and its development, with an emphasis on his theory of knowledge, social philosophy, and philosophy of culture that were all grounded in his philosophical psychology. He advocated (Slavic) agrarianism and cooperativism.
