This book is based upon three empirical studies conducted in a cross-cultural context on Academic English Writing. Through the three studies, the theoretical framework to illustrate features of Academic English Writing was re-examined and updated by changing the research context. The book should be informative to English writing instructors and academic advisers in terms of pedagogy of Academic English Writing. Postgraduates may also find it helpful in conducting research and writing research reports.
Lianhong Gao got her PhD degree in TESOL Curriculum and Instruction at Florida International University. Currently, she is Associate Professor at Foreign Language School, China University of Political Science and Law, Beijing, China.
