The 3rd edition of this standard work for building construction has again been revised in terms of content and illustrations. References to standards, thermal insulation standards, and some project examples have been updated; they are now comprehensively and systematically documented, explaining the design process from start to finish. Es hat sich deshalb in über 14 Jahren nicht nur für Studierende und Dozenten, sondern auch für Architektinnen und Architekten zu einem unverzichtbaren Handbuch zum Nachschlagen und Vertiefen entwickelt. Auch die 3. Auflage dieses Standardwerks für die Baukonstruktion wurde inhaltlich und grafisch weiter überarbeitet. Die Normenverweise und Wärmedämmungsstandards wurden angepasst und einzelne Projektbeispiele aktualisiert, sodass sie nun in ihrem Entstehungsprozess umfassend und systematisch bis zur Fertigstellung dokumentiert sind.
