Adsorption of pollutants from water onto chelating resins
Today heavy metals and dyes are regarded as one of the most serious issues related to the environment. Their contamination is an issue of serious concern because it has been posing a health threat to millions of people. It is important to develop technologies available for pollutants removal. Generally, these technologies should be cost-effective, highly efficient, and easy to handle. Additionally, it is expected that the technology should avoid the water quality deterioration, even in the case of improper operation by a local operator who is not well trained. In this book the author made close look in recent developments on the using chelating resins for water detoxification.
